so so, Feb 09, 2011
reviewer: Gen from UK
The WOOZ is one of my all time favourites so I was more than looking forward to this but I can’t help but feeling a little disappointed. Yes the singing is amazing and Danielle’s performance is fabulous. It’s hard to believe this is her first role. BUT ... it all lacked a little warmth. Glinda’s costume was cold, the dancing didn’t make me smile with happiness, there needed to be more pauses so you could feel for the characters. Also there was a definite lack of a sing song at the end. I want to leave a show with a buzz and I didn’t :(

Danielle was a Star, Feb 08, 2011
reviewer: Jo B from UK
Having watched the "Over The Rainbow" show last year and wanting Danielle to win from day one, I was absolutely blown away by her first show on 7 February, her voice is incredible. The whole performance was superb and I would thoroughly recommend seeing it. Michael Crawford has not lost any of his genius and the whole cast must be applauded - well done.

Brilliant first Preview performance, Feb 08, 2011
reviewer: Sheila from London UK
I wondered what to expect from last night's first "Preview" pwerformance - was this to be a dress rehersal with an audience? Might there be frequent stops? And lots of glitches? None of it! - It was as if they had been performing this for months it was so polished. Danielle Hope was magnificent as Dorothy and Toto was so brilliantly trained. Loved the extra songs, the wicked witch's song in particular was very strong. Brilliant effects. Fresh and creative and yet full of the story's original charm. Very young children might find some bits a little scary. A triumph for Andrew Lloyd Webber and congratulations to Danielle on an amazingly confident and professional first public performance. Hopefully will run for a long time. And even though our seats were way up in the Upper Circle our view was good.

Wonderful night!, Feb 07, 2011
reviewer: Clare from UK
Just got back from the opening night and what a fantastic
night it was. Everything went without a hitch and the
audience were singing along! Toto was the greatest and
deserves a special mention. A fav childhood film of mine and
can't wait to go back. Every bit as wonderful as it's sister film
Wicked:)
