Sophie Evans/Runner-up, Sep 12, 2011
reviewer: Diana & Family from London U.K.
Saw this marvelous show yesterday and my daughter and grand-children thought ir the best musical they had ever seen.Sophie Evans, Danielle's understudy was great and in no way did we feel cheated that she was Dorothy. She was incredible and we take our hats off to her for a truly fantastic performance.

Fantastic, Sep 13, 2011

Being a big fan of the film and having followed the tv show to find Dorothy, I was keen to travel down to London from Edinburgh to see the show. On 1st September 2011, I went to the London Palladium and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The special effects, Danielle Hope and Toto were all excellent features and characters of the show. The only down side to the show was the audience. Many people walked in late, which I find very rude to the actors and actresses of the show as well as the people who have bought tickets. With it being a family show, many children were present in the palladium and found it very difficult not to talk and sit through the whole length of the show. With there being the whole wicked witch aspect of the story, I found many people began to think they were in a panto and started the booing and clapping along to the songs etc. If I wanted to boo at characters, I'd go to a panto and not a West End Musical. This aside, the show was excellent.

great performer with a marvelous voice, very moving.
We really had a good time. Our children don't speak
