With it's legendary history steeped in voodoo magic amidst the deliriously humid miasmas of the bayous, what better place to set Shakespeare's fantastical comedy about manipulative faeries, mischievous sprites and the fevers of love, desire and jealousy?
Featuring a live musical score of classic New Orleans Jazz and Blues including compositions by Dr. John, Louis Armstrong, Randy Newman and Professor Longhair, A Midsummer Night's Dream gets a Southern makeover by Ruby In The Dust Theatre Company, a London-based outfit dedicated to producing theatre classics with an unusual twist or two!
