Why See Jerusalem?

Plays

The return of jerusalem

Hailed as the best play of the 21st century, Jez Butterworth's career-making Jerusalem returns to London over a decade after its record-breaking 2009 run. Starring Tony, Oscar and Olivier Winner Mark Rylance and Mackenzie Crook, the show's original creative team are back, all the best to recreate the multi-award-winning, era-defining play for a brand new audience.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye, what is the story?

It's St. Georges Day, the county fair is in full swing, and local waster, Johnny 'Rooster' Byron is a wanted man. With his son wanting to take him to the fair, the council wanting to serve him an eviction notice, a motley crew of friends wanting his supply of drugs and alcohol, and Troy Whitworth wanting to knock ten bells out of him, it seems 'Rooster' may just have his St. Georges Day cut out for him.
