Santa's New Sleigh

Until December 10, 2016

Uh-oh! What happens when Santa Claus' famous red flying sleigh goes missing? That is the problem facing two of his elfish helpers on the run-up to Christmas. Sprocket and Dibs are faced with having to build a brand-new one - from scratch! Can they do it on time, or will Christmas for the world's children be cancelled this year? This charming stage production for young children is perfect to get them into the spirit; there's audience participation and even a festive sing-along to help the two hapless elves along on their quest! Plus, there's a little extra something at the end for all the kids!

A Christmas Carol with Simon Callow

December 8, 2016-January 7, 2017

Esteemed actor, national treasure and Charles Dickens aficionado Simon Callow returns to his favoured author again this Christmas with this one man theatrical retelling of the man's most beloved novel, taking the audience along with him over the course of a sumptuous evening, replete with a dazzling feast, much loved carols and festive parlor games as the tale of miser extraordinaire Scrooge is laid bare once again by a most worthy performer!

Dirty Great Love Story

January 18-March 18, 2017

The perilous consequences of a one night stand are explored in this gutsy rom-com from Richard Marsh and Katie Bonna. Winner of the Fringe First award at the Edinburgh Festival in 2012, it's a hilarious two handed meditation on modern-day romance as the best of intentions and the worst collide.

The Wipers Times

March 21-May 13, 2017

What would you do if you came across a printing press in the midst of the First World War? That is the question asked by this new stage adaptation of Ian Hislop and Nick Newman's darkly satirical play that comes to London's Arts Theatre, following a successful UK tour. Telling the eyebrow-raising true story of a group of enterprising British troops who decided to publish a satirical newspaper for their fellow soldiers, join the Tommies as they perform the sketches and comedy prose that lightened the mood of the Somme's trenches in their darkest hour.
