DUSTY RETURNS TO THE STAGE IN A BRAND-NEW MUSICAL

A brand-new show dedicated to the music and life of best-loved British singer Dusty Springfield makes its way to the Charing Cross Theatre this summer! The musical is told through the eyes of her childhood friend Nancy Jones, and is a joyful celebration of the a true musical innovator, by seamlessly blending the most up-to-date 3-D technology and digital media with live music, song and dance in a jukebox musical format.

Dusty was born Mary Isobel Catherine Bernadette O’Brien, and went on to live a colourful life as a pioneer of Mowtown music in the UK through her seminal album Dusty in Memphis. Breaking down doors to the States as part of the British invasion, she was also instrumental in raising public awareness of South African apartheid, famously being deported from the country as a result. One of the finest singers of Sixties' Britain, Dusty's music continues to inspire new generations of female artists and gain new fans every year.
