Michael Gambon returns to the West End Stage in Beckett’s classic one-man show, Krapp’s Last Tape after receiving huge acclaim following his performance in the role of Krapp at the Gate Theatre Dublin earlier this year.
Every year on his birthday self-absorbed Krapp sits down to record his memories from the past year. But on his 69th birthday he takes a step further into the past.
Listening to his old recordings he soon stumbles upon a single tender memory from long ago that sparks his growing regret as he starts to question whether his present lives up to his past.
