Infra-Red Listening Systems
The Ambassador Theatre Group is now offering state-of-the-art Sennheiser infra-red listening systems in our venues. Please call the box office on 0870 060 6626 or visit the Sennheiser web site at www.sennheiser.co.uk for more details.
Guide dogs are allowed into Box A.
Wheelchair access. No spaces for wheelchair users who have to stay in their chairs. Through the side EXIT door on Crown Court, to left of main entrance, there are 5 steps to Dress Circle. Transfer seating is possible to F17. Wheelchair users must bring a non-disabled companion.
There is no adapted toilet. The toilets are situated in the following locations:
Stalls: Ladies & Gentlemen - 21 steps down from foyer.
Dress Circle: Ladies - 28 steps up from foyer.
Dress Circle: Gentlemen - 38 steps up from foyer.
Upper Circle: Women - 46 steps up from foyer.
There is a toilet in Box A accessible through the Exit on Crown Court which is 1 step down.
The Dress Circle is the most accessible area, with 7 steps up from the foyer.
There are 3 licensed bars selling beverages and confectionary. The Stalls bar is level with the Stalls auditorium (21 steps down from the foyer), the Mezzanine bar is 10 steps up from the Dress Circle and the third bar is in the Upper Circle (53 steps up from the foyer). Bars open approximately 45 minutes before the show begins. There is currently no disabled access to the bar but if customers speak to a manager upon arrival it can be arranged for drinks to be brought to disabled customers in their seat.
Note: Drinks may be taken into the auditorium but only in plastic cups
