David Walliams' best-selling book adapts to the stage!

In time to celebrate their 25th anniversary, Birmingham Stage Company will stage a brand-new adaptation of David Walliams' best-selling children's book, Gangsta Granny. Coming to the Garrick Theatre in summer 2017, this Neal Foster co-produced work boasts an incredible creative team with design by Jackie Trousdale and choreography by Chantry Dance Company. With casting yet to be announced, this West End treat is expected to draw kids in over the summer holidays, making it a great way to experience theatre for the first time!

Every Friday night, young Ben dreads staying with his Granny. With all her food being made from cabbage (from soup to cake), Ben is convinced that he is in for the most boring night of his life. However, Granny has a secret of her own, meaning that Friday nights are about to take on a whole new level of excitement for them both, as they embark on their own very special adventure, courtesy of Gangsta Granny!
