A season of new voices at the Royal Court Theatre
As part of the Royal Court Theatre's sublime new 2017-18 season, playwright Simon Longman makes his professional debut with Gundog, an exploration of grief and survival. The up and coming young writer developed his talent at the theatre's Young Writer's Programme in 2013, going on to win the Channel 4 Playwright's Scheme bursary in 2014.
Helmed by the Royal Court's artistic director Vicky Featherstone, the drama follows sisters Becky and Anna as they struggle to hold their family together in the wake of their mother's death. The discovery of a stranger wandering the harsh landscape of their rural England home forces them into an unlikely partnership in which all vie for survival.
Opening night: 31 January 2018
