Francophiles will be in for a treat as French comedian and actor Dany Boon performs for one night only at the Lyric Theatre this May! This one-man show showcases his famous dry humour and comedic naivety, by performing a selection of his cult comedy sketches that show everyday life. Boon first appeared on French TV host Patrick Sebastien's show in 1992, and has seen his career rise rapidly as a prominent screen and stage figure in his native homeland. Please be aware that this show is performed entirely in French!
Famed for his one-man shows performed almost entirely in his Chtimi regional dialect of of Picard (Langue d'oïl), he often utilises his accent and dialect in films; in 2008, he was Europe's highest paid screen and stage actor.
Performance date: 18 May 2015
Suitable for French and Chtimi speakers from age 12+
One hour and 40 minutes without interval
Please be aware that the show will be performed in French and Chtimi .
You may be required to wear a mask during this performance. Please contact the venue directly for more information.
