In one of the Menier Chocolate Factory's most exciting productions, the master of British farce, Ray Cooney not only directs the classic comedy he wrote, but acts in it too! Widely considered one of his best plays, Two Into One is a whitehall farce whose convoluted plot and cringeworthy situations will delight farce fanatics from start to finish.
Nick Wilton stars as the PPS caught in the middle of the married couple's illicit undertakings, with Michael Praed playing the philandering MP. And Cooney fans will be able to catch the playwright himself - who has penned over 20 plays - as a bumbling waiter who is a bit too keen to show off his karate moves.
Dick Willey MP has avoided an important afternoon meeting to indulge in a rendezvous at a local hotel with Maggie Thatcher's (married) secretary. Unbeknownst to him, his wife is planning on doing a similar thing with his PPS, who he's asked to book his hotel room in the first place! Lies abound as the guilty parties frantically struggle to keep their actions under wraps, and keep on top of their alibies!
