The famous tale of turbulent love set during the changing times of the American Civil War.
Scarlett O'Hara is the eldest of three daughters living a life of luxury on their father's plantation. But Lincoln's call to end slavery in the South sparks the Civil War. Scarlett's progression through this tumultuous time is mirrored by her relationship with the unpredictable Rhett Butler.
Gone With The Wind was published in 1936, becoming one of the best selling novels of the 20th century and winning the Pulitzer Prize for author Margaret Mitchell. The film adaptation is regarded as one of the great American classics.
