Connor McPherson's newest work must be something very pretty impressive to gain permission from famously protective folk icon Bob Dylan to use his songs on stage, so it's no secret that this world premiere play with songs (not a musical!) is a much anticipated part of the Old Vic's 2017 season.
Set in depression era Duluth, Minnesota, the show follows a family balanced on the edge of poverty and dysfunction, buoyed by the strange assortment of drifters who stay in their guesthouse. For Nick Laine, enough is enough and now he's found a way out.
