J.M Barrie's Peter Pan

I ran away the day I was born, because I heard Father and Mother talking of what I was to be when I became a man. I want always to be a little boy and to have fun, Wendy.

J.M BARRIE'S ORIGINAL STORY... IN ALL ITS GLORY!

A very special open-air performance in Regent's Park's dedicated venue of J.M Barrie's seminal play. Join Wendy, John and Michael as they fly away to the Neverland to meet pirates, mermaids and lost boys. Forget the Disney version; this production follows the original story closely in a 1914 setting, and is not suited for those under none years old due to its dark and complex themes. If you enjoyed the film Finding Neverland, you will absolutely love this.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Three children in a wealthy family feel neglected by their stern father, and are comforted by their patient, lovely mother. Wendy is approaching twelve, the cusp of womanhood and yearns for more adventure in her life before she leaves the nursery and begins formal training as a young woman. One night, a mysterious stranger enters the nursery; a boy of about Wendy's age, who can fly. After she helps him retrieve his shadow, he invites her and her younger brothers John and Michael for an adventure of a lifetime.

With adventures dark, compelling and sweetly funny, Wendy must decide whether or not to remain in Neverland with Peter and his Lost Boys as their chief storyteller and "mother", or return home to their grief-stricken family, who believe that they have lost them forever. But will Peter let her and the Lost Boys return without a fight? And is Captain Hook really the true villain in this story?

An enchanting way to enjoy a summer evening with your friends or loved ones, sit back and relax while the company take you back in time to where your childhood awaits.
