FANTASTIC NIGHT OUT

I went to see SITR on opening preview night 4th February. Having seen it on the stage with Tommy Steele and Roy Castle 25 years ago I was very apprehensive to see if this show would equal it. Within seconds that was wiped away. Adam Cooper was brilliant as Don Lockwood, and Scarlett Strallen was charming as Kathy Seldon. Daniel Crossley as Cosmo Brown was amazing and energetic. The rest of the cast and chorus were great. There is also interval entertainment provided with the backstage crew drying the floor for the second half. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone looking for a good night out for the whole family. Beware where you book your seats though, first 6 rows of the stalls will get wet during the SITR song and the finale. The Cambridge pub next door is an excellent place to have a meal before the show.

What a lift on a dreary post spring London night............good family entertainment that won't fail to disappoint. Exceptionally well executed - an evening filled with laughter and sheer joy!!!!! I can't recommend this musical enough - infact I've booked to go again with some friends!!!! Sat in stalls and giggled loads - would be great for all the family and wouldnt hesitate to recommend this show ENJOY!!!!

AMAZING!

Simply the best west end show I have seen - I have been to quite a few - a lot of fun! Only complaint was that it went too quickly and I now cant stop singing the songs (badly!).

WHAT A SHOW!

I don't know whether the show has improved since the reviews of certain people here in February of last year, but I personally found this show to be the most entertaining, upbeat and heartwarming musical that I have seen in a very long time (and I've seen a lot of the greats on both continents). When your 14 and 11 year old daughters rate it higher than Wicked and Mamma Mia on Broadway or the Wizard of Oz, Hairspray, Oliver, Cats, Phantom or Les Mis in London, you know it must have been something special. Catch the show and decide for yourself - just don't miss it and miss out on making the decision yourself. A well deserved standing ovation tonight.

GREAT SUCCESS

I think this show is fun and a happy experience which can lift your mood. Great dancing by the troupe and also by the leads. Of course it isn't the film, which may disappoint if you are expecting the same 'Make 'em laugh' sequence, but for a live and non stop dancing piece it is good value providing you are not in the first 6 rows!! As for Adam Cooper, he brings a balletic touch to the show which makes up for a slightly untrained rendering of some of the songs

CHARMING

My daughter and I went to see SITR on Saturday and it was absolutely charming. Faultless performances from all the leads & chorus, lovely staging, beautiful costumes and a great orchestra. It really was a lovely night out - a real feel-good show. And we certainly did come out singing and tapping our feet all the way to the station.

GREAT SHOW

Just arrived back from a night out in London. Singing in the rain was a great show with fantastic dancing and some funny moments. My son enjoyed the show. We were sat up in the gods, seats not very comfortable but we could see nearly everything as actors perform mostly in centre of stage. Would recommend.
