An Audience With Jimmy Savile by Jonathan Maitland seeks to explore the man who was once dubbed the 'Most trusted man in Britain' and how he fooled us all.
With Alistair McGowan playing against type and using transcripts from interviews and television shows, An Audience finds Saville in 1991, on the evening he wins the above epithet, reflecting on his life of deception, and how he hoodwinked the whole nation.
