The 7 Fingers: Traces

Until July 12, 2015

A French-Canadian circus troupe with a difference! Before you think you are in for yet another certain Franco-Canadian (ahem), surrealist extravaganza, let's tell you about these guys, who truly put the "death" into gravity defying (well, you know what we mean). First performing at the Peacock in 2009, 7 Fingers are a circus artistry troupe with a difference; for one thing there's only four men and one woman performing the feats on stage! Whether dancers tumble at breakneck speed through hoops, scaling Chinese poles like ferrets or free-running over furniture, Traces succeeds in bringing high drama to the circus, but on a closer scale.

Hercules - A Dance Cabaret

July 24-25, 2015

Welcome to an uproarious account of the 12 labours of Hercules, complete with slapstick comedy, dance and of course music! Described as a non-Christmas pantomime, "Hercules" is the brainchild Pete Shenton and Tom Roden of New Art Club, a pair of pioneering artists, comedy theatre makers and choreographers who have raised the roof at Edinburgh and regularly perform at the Soho Theatre. If you've ever wanted to see a paso doble version of a bullfight, or comedy wrestling in full Ancient Greek costume, then look no further than this energetic farce!

Shaolin Monks - Shaolin

September 29-October 17, 2015

Performing breathtaking feats of physical strength and agility, the Shaolin Monks are back! Going far beyond the stereotypical stunts of Hollywood, these Kung Fu Masters bring an elegance and grace to their art form, an ancient tradition steeped in the teachings of Zen Buddhism. Combining lightning fast timing and finely-honed technique, the Monks create explosive spectacle like no other.

The Snowman

star 1star 2star 3star 4

November 25, 2015-January 3, 2016

The wildly successful live stage adaptation of Raymond Brigg's best-loved childrens' cartoon makes another return to the Peacock this Christmas. On a cold winter's night, a young boy gets the surprise of his life, when the snowman that he built that day magically comes to life! Together they embark on a wondrous adventure, and escape peril by the troublesome Jack Frost. A must-see for youngsters and adults alike, this will relight your Christmas spirit!
