Enter into the world of cheerleaders, denim, first cigarettes, hair gel, Cadillac's, rock 'n' roll and teenage romance at Rydell High.

Ray Quinn trades in his ice skates for his dancing shoes and joins his too cool for school classmates in the classic musical, Grease. Former X Factor finalist and winner of ITV's Dancing on Ice lives up to expectations in a engaging performance as Danny Zuko. He is joined by Sandy who is played by his real life girlfriend Emma Stephens.

Too cool for school, gang, the T-birds and the Pink Ladies have nonstop energy and provide endless entertainment with their harmonies and jazz hands. The dancing and choreography were a real highlight of the show. If you are up for a sing along this show features all the classics from the 1978 film back-to-back. DJ Vince Fontaine spins hits such as "Summer Nights," "Greased Lightning", "You're the One That I Want", "Sandy" and my favourite "We Go Together" ...shoo-bop sha wadda wadda yippity boom de boom.

The set and costume design are bright and bold. I especially liked the use of lighting and props in the Drive-in sequence.

Either I have watched Grease far too many times or the show has been 'done to death'. Not much has changed since the debut of Grease in 1978 and I felt that the storyline lacked freshness and innovation. However a lack of originality definitely hasn't deterred diehard Grease fans from watching the performance. In fact, they'll probably be even more excited for the same beloved performance that has had audiences jiving for decades.

If you are a Ray Quinn fan don't miss this chance to see his moves! A slick, perfectly choreographed, sing along classic which had audience members of all ages bopping.

Children aged 5 and over will be admitted to the theatre. Due to the content in Grease it is recommended that it is only really suitable for children above the age of 10.

Theatre
Due to a high stage the view is restricted from rows A to C in the Stalls for most children and shorter adults. If you want to take a peek at the live band (which performs high up on the stage) avoid the back rows of the Royal circle as the view is restricted by the above Grand Circle. Binoculars may come in handy if you are in these far back seats.
