Richmond Theatre once again plays host to pantomime season with a sparkling production of Sleeping Beauty, which will do anything but send you and the kids off into a snooze! Starring legendary actress Maureen Lipman as the Wicked Fairy Queen and CBeebies presenter Chris Jarvis as Prince Charming, this star-studded Christmas extravaganza is filled to the brim with music, dazzling costumes, oodles of humour and of course, audience participation! Fall in love with panto all over again this festive season....
Arguably one of the most-well known fairytales of all time, the tale of a young princess doomed to sleep for a hundred years has seen many incarnations, including a Disney movie (and more recently a second, focusing on the witch), and remains a pantomime staple for over fifty years. Previous guest stars at Richmond pantomimes include Hayley Mills, Matthew Rixon, Jerry Hall, Suzanne Shaw and Henry Winkler.
