Car Parks
Ten free parking spaces are available adjacent to the Hall. Priority is given to customers using
wheelchairs with any remaining spaces offered to Blue Badge (formerly Orange Badge) holders.
The nearest door to the car park is Door 8, which has ramped access to the building. Please call the access line on 020 7838 3110 to pre-book a space.
General parking is also available at Imperial College campus, which is approximately 5 minutes walk away.The car park entrances are located on Exhibition Road (evenings and matinees) and Prince Consort Road (evenings only). Spaces cost £7.50 and can be booked through the Box Office on 020 7589 8212.
On-street Parking
Strict parking controls are in operation on all public roads around the Hall.
There are fourteen bays in the surrounding area that have been allocated solely for use by Blue Badge (formerly Orange Badge) holders on Exhibition Road, four outside the Victoria and Albert Museum, four outside the Science Museum and four outside the Natural History Museum; on Kensington Gore, two outside the Royal College of Art.
Badge-holders can use these spaces for up to four hours, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 6.30pm, and without time limit outside these hours.
There is general on-street parking on Prince Consort Road and Exhibition Road. Both operate Pay & Display from 8.30am – 6.30pm from Monday to Saturday. The charge is £3.00 per hour and the maximum stay varies between 2 and 4 hours. Blue Badge holders are entitled to park at a meter/pay-and-display bay for an extra hour once the paid time has expired.
Arrival and Setting-down Points
For arrival by car, taxi, minibus or Dial-a-Ride, the most convenient set-down point is at
Door 1, which is at the rear of the building and has ramped access. For customers using the Royal Albert Hall car park, the nearest entrance is Door 8, which has ramped access and usually opens two hours before the start of the performance.
Underground
South Kensington (District, Circle and Piccadilly Lines) and High Street Kensington (District and Circle Lines) are the closest underground stations to the Hall. Neither of these stations are wheelchair-accessible.Walking to the Hall takes approximately 10 minutes from both stations.
Buses
52/N52 – Victoria to Willesden stopping on Kensington Gore, outside the Hall.

9/N9 – Aldwych to Hammersmith (N9 to Heathrow), stopping on Kensington Gore, outside the Hall. Some buses wheelchair-accessible.
10/N10 – King’s Cross (N10 from Archway) to Hammersmith, stopping on Kensington Gore, outside the Hall.Wheelchair-accessible.
70 – Acton to South Kensington, stopping on Queen’s Gate, 3 minutes walk from the Hall.

360 – Elephant & Castle to Kensington, arrival stop on Prince Consort Road, departure stop on Queen’s Gate, both approximately 3 minutes walk from the Hall.Wheelchair-accessible.
Taxis from the Royal Albert Hall
There is a taxi rank located next to the Hall’s car park.The nearest door to the taxi rank is Door 8, which has ramped access to the building. Alternatively black cabs can usually be hailed from Kensington Gore, outside the front of the building.
