A true polymath and the epitome of a Renaissance man, Stephen John Fry is a writer, presenter, social commentator, satirist, actor and TV personality, and in his own words 'Lord of Dance, Prince of Swimwear and Blogger'. Fry's diverse interests and enthusiasms have seen him become one of a small handful of global cultural figures who have a significant presence in every form of media; radio, TV, film, print, online and even on PlayStation 3.
Star of BBC1 QI, Fry also presented the highly entertaining television series Stephen Fry in America, which saw him travel across all 50 states in a London cab.
Playing Oscar Wilde in the film Wilde, Fry was widely acclaimed for the nuance, empathy and depth he brought to the role, resulting in a BAFTA award and Golden Globe Best Actor nomination. A prolific writer, Fry has also written a series of novels, small screen plays and an autobiography, Moab Is My Washpot.
