Primary school children take the playwriting duties at this year's Primetime!
Following last year's successful run at the Royal Court Theatre, Primetime returns with a new play written by eight to eleven year old pupils, for us! Directed by and starring adult actors, the kids show the future talent of British playwrights. Last year saw a mission to outer space with characters imaginatively named Mr Moon, Grandpa Ninja and Sauce Jagger! This year we follow Billy the bully as he journeys on a school trip into the jungle, complete with a zombie, and a wrestling match to outdo all others!
A perfect treat for families, this is a fantastic way to get your children's creative juices flowing, especially if they have ever dreamed about writing or performing. Writing workshops for families are also available as part of the season.
Opening night: 21 July 2016
Suitable for ages 4+
You may be required to wear a mask during this performance. Please contact the venue directly for more information.
