Concerto
Youthful energy and technical precision are combined in Kenneth MacMillan's virtuoso ballet. Rather than following a distinct narrative, this abstract ballet follows the varied textures and moods of Shostakovich's score.
Las Hermanas
Themes of repression and sensuality are explored through groundbreaking choreography in Kenneth MacMillan’s ballet. Five unmarried sisters live under the rule of their oppressive mother. When the younger sister seduces the eldest sister’s fiancé, there are devastating repercussions.
Requiem
Kenneth MacMillan's moving ballet was created in memory of his friend and fellow choreographer John Cranko. Requiem presents a series of movements that explore themes of loss and grief, and the contrast between the human and spiritual worlds.
