After a successful run with last year's adaptation of The Great Gatsby, the powerhouse Northern Ballet presents a new classic novel, George Orwell's dystopian romance, 1984. The story of Winston Smith and his life under the despotic rule of the omnipotent Big Brother and his secret romance with Julia, Northern Ballet have created a thoroughly modern iteration of this gripping tale of surveillance and rebellion.
Choreographed by Jonathan Watkins, this production includes brand new music from Tony-nominated Alex Baranowski.
