Simply to watch the collective patterns set in motion by the dancers is entrancing

Part of the contemporary classics season at Sadlers Wells
Part of Sadlers Wells' contemporary classics season, Anne Theresa De Keersmaeker's iconic work Rain will be performed by her renowned dance company Rosa in a welcome return to London. Created in 2001, it is notable for its deceptively simple footwork within a geometric space. Performed to the modernistic Music for 18 Musicians by Steve Reich, the piece explores both individualism and cameraderie between its 10 dancers. Speed and breath seem to be shared between the dancers as the speed increases into pure exhuberance!
