A new musical from Tim Rice and Stuart Brayson based on the award winning novel from 1951.

Closed 29 Mar 2014

An unforgettable journey From Here To Eternity

Beautiful design meets sensational song and dance in this epic musical by Tim Rice and Stuart Brayson. Set on the Hawaiian island of Oahu, the World War II musical tells the story of a group of American soldiers, the women they fall for and the sacrifices they make for their country... and for love.

This brand new musical opened on the West End in its world premiere and while it was a hit with the public and critics, it failed to drum up enough sales to keep the production opened, and closed just six months after opening.

What is From Here To Eternity about?

From Here To Eternity follows Hawaii's G Company - a group of American soldiers stationed on an idyllic islands, where the gorgeous scenery is shadowed by the growing threat of World War II. The story follows two of the Company's key soldiers - Private Prewitt and the platoon sergeant, Warden - both of whom have the misfortune of falling in love with the wrong women. When the bombing of Pearl Harbour violently throws their station into the the War, the four lovers are forced to fight for their love, and their lives.
