The company behind the multi-award winning 'Bound'
The company behind the multi award-winning "Bound" bring this new historical Crusade-era epic to the stage following a successful Kickstarter campaign.
A young French knight named Matthew embarks to fight in the First Holy Crusade, but leaves behind his broken family, his dilapidated inherited farm and a plucky teenage sister who he entrusts with its care. Enduring song takes Matthew and the audience on an epic journey from the green fields of France, through the churches of Antioch to the final siege of Jerusalem.
Enduring is performed in the round by a cast of 20 and is accompanied by traditional Corsican music to add atmosphere to proceedings. The play's costume budget was entirely funded by crowd sourcing via Kickstarter.
