In Washington Heights, a vibrant neighbourhood in Manhattan, Ushavi, a young shopkeeper sees the comings and goings of the Dominican-American community as they stop by his bodega for a cup of warm, smooth coffee and a chin-wag.
As life unfolds on the block, In The Heights captures the residents on the brink of change, struggling with the clash of old and new, in a vivid and dynamic show that displays energetic and colourful choreography, infused with Latin soul, hip hop beats and fiery salsa.
Generations collide in a unique expression of collective joy and excitement in a production that wowed Broadway and is now finding a home in the West End. A great night out for fans of dance, music and rhythm!
