Marnie

Mr. Mayer's production, with its candy-colored midcentury dresses and shifting panels, moves smoothly and stylishly.

Why see Marnie?
WORLD PREMIERE
Marnie is the story of a young woman who makes her way through life defrauding employers before moving on with a new identity to start the charade again. This world premiere production from Nico Muhly (Two Boys) draws on the classic novel by Winston Graham and Alfred Hitchcock's tense screenplay to create a new portrait of the troubled Marnie.
Grammy winner Sasha Cooke takes on the titular role in a production directed by Michael Mayer and featuring Leslie Garrett. Expect a psychologically intense story that examines all facets of freedom, set to a powerful and searing score.
