Swan Lake, Tchaikovsky's first full length ballet, premiered at Moscow's Bolshoi Theatre in 1877.

The trilogy of Tchaikovsky ballets all have their roots in fairy tales. To see them as a trilogy rather than three separate works, emphasises something else they have in common – the child in an adult world and the transition between the two.

Danish superstar Alban Lendorf dances all performances of Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty.
