Closed 6 May 2016

Now celebrating his 70th birthday, the alliterative music artist behind such hits as Mellow Yellow, Jenifer Juniper and Sunshine Superman is performing a one-time gig at the London Palladium. Joined by his longtime band, with Danny Thompson on bass, John Cameron on piano and Gavin Harrison on drums, there will also be a special guest, yet to be announced.

Starting out as a folk singer in the style of Dylan, his musical leanings evolved to include jazz, pop, psychedelia, and world music, specifically calypso music. At just 18 years old when he released his first hit ‘Catch The Wind,, he received the Ivor Novello Award for the single. Now gaining a comeback in recent years, he graced the acoustic stage as the headline act at last year's Glastonbury festival.
