One of the founding members of two of country rock's biggest bands

Closed 4 Nov 2014

Jeff Tweedy is a dynamic singer-songwriter, musician and poet who has been a founding member of two of the biggest bands in alternative country rock, Uncle Tupelo and Wilco. He's also a music artist in his own right, with his debut solo studio album - Sukierae - released September 2014. The album comes after his latest solo US tour, a 16-date tour which sees his son, Spencer, join his backing band on the drums.

Wilco formed after Tweedy's first band, Uncle Tupelo, disbanded, taking all but one of the original Uncle Tupelo members. Stylistically diverse and drawing from a wide range of influences, Wilco become one of the front-runners of country rock. Expect acoustic versions of Wilco and Uncle Tupelo classics and maybe even taster of some of his new material on this solo tour!
