EXCELLENT OPENING NIGHT! (13TH DEC)

We were completly engrossed in the performance from start to finish, the sets were fast moving and fantastic, the cast young and old were faultless, it was amazing to hear the power and passion right from the first scene. We`ll be booking to see it again, the only blip of the evening was the unorganised manor which the cloakroom was being run and the ill mannered member of staff who suggested waiting in a line for 20 minutes and not one person having recieved their coats was perfectly fine as we were not in primark!!!!!

AMAZING PERFORMANCE

Went to see this on 13th Dec 08 as a treat from my husband for my birthday. Would not have missed it for the world. The sets were amazing and changed flawlessly, the cast were absolute perfection, particulary Rowan, Jodie and Laurence. Would love to see it again, well worth every penny spent on travel to London, hotel and even taxi fares from the Hilton Paddington to the theatre. Absolutely amazing. Julie West Yorkshire

AMAZING, GOING AGAIN 2009!

Can't fault the show. It was fantastic and kept me amused from beginning to end. Rowan Atkinson was out of this world and full of expression, take your binoculars for full effects! He was so well cast. The Artful Dodger was my favourite! Full of character and totally captivating. Gwion did amazingly as did Jodie, both exceeding the high expectations set for their opening night. I just can't wait to go back next year and will surely be singing the great songs all the way to Christmas ... Also, great credit to the set and the orchestra. Incredible. Thanks Drury Lane for a wonderful Monday evening!

SENSATIONAL SPECTACLE - A NIGHT TO REMEMBER

My daughter took me to the charity performance on December 18th as a birthday treat - and what a treat it was!! Stunning sets, fantastic music and brilliant performances - an absolute joy from start to finish. Rowan Atkinson was born to play Fagin -thank God Cameron Mackintosh managed to persuade him after trying for 15 years. Rowan, you are sensational. Jodie Prenger is a new star and her magnificent debut showed how well she deserved to win her role. The kids were a delight and had me in tears more than once-Dodger was a dream!!!Buy, beg, borrow or steal tickets but do not miss this show: it is truly sensational.
