The prolific Alan Ayckbourn brings his much missed marital farce back to the West End this Spring for a limited season at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. With as many twists and turns as a game of snakes and ladders, How The Other Half Loves concerns three couples, The Fosters, The Phillips' and The Featherstones and two rather calamitous dinner parties...
Bob Phillips is having an affair with Fiona, his boss Frank's wife. As their spouses begin to suspect something amiss, they both cite the quiet Featherstones, William and Mary. Finding themselves stuck in the middle of the warring couples and on the receipt of an invitation to two dinner parties, on successive nights, things get very heated as Bob and Fiona's deception finally outed. Ayckbourn's most popular play, this farcical exploration of class, manners and married is guaranteed to cracking night out at the theatre for fans old and new!
