Sometimes her arm around your shoulders felt like a feather boa, and sometimes it felt like a big old snake squeezing the life out of you. I liked it.
Excerpt from Boa
Clare Brennan's intimate two-hander provides a unique opportunity to see one of Britain’s greatest actresses perform in front of an exclusive audience. Having received critical acclaim in Phillyda Lloyd's all-female production of Henry IV at the Donmar Warehouse, Harriet Walter and her husband, American actor Guy Paul, will perform together for the first time on the West End stage in a new two-hander directed by Hannah Price, for a strictly limited five-week run, in front of only 98 people per night.
Brennan's Boa is an acerbic, warm and honest account of a husband and wife whose relationship spans thirty years of love, laughter, alcohol addiction, and warfare across two continents. Fall in love again as our two characters Louis, Belinda reminisce upon their 30 years of overwhelming affection, wine, words and dance.
