Yes Prime Minister Reviews

SENSATIONAL
A very subtle yet ferociously funny play; I was in awe of all the actors, their performances truly taking the brilliance of the script to another level. I was very glad to see a full house; alas not many young people, for whom this should be compulsory viewing. This is an unmissable show, a genuine small masterpiece. I will definitely watch it again.

A TRULY BRILLIANT NIGHT OUT!
Wasn't sure what to expect but spent two hours laughing and left the theatre on a high and wishing that there were more plays like these! The delivery and timing of these magnificent actors were quite sublime. Just a pity that there were so few youngsters in the audience. Is it, I wonder, the way in which the play has been portrayed in the media? Would love to see this again with my sons!

Still the best, well done oo updating the show. I enjoyed the TV series and found the stage show just as good, if not better.

DON'T LEAVE STUPID REVIEWS
To the Lennox family - The 3 of you leaving 1 star reviews just to bring the rating of the play down is immature and self-absorbed behaviour. I would sympathise with any negative experience one may have had with theatre staff, but the purpose of this forum is to review the play, so please have some respect for people who are actually interested in the quality of the production itself.

LOVED IT
watched from Row B Dress Circle - perfect seats- courtesy of Whatsonstage. Brilliant show, very funny and fast. Brought up to date with blackberrys etc. Not sure about the female character - not in the original - but suppose there are now plenty of them around.Stayed for question and answer - what lovely people including co-author, Jonathan Lynn, who gave such fascinating insights into the text and the nature of politics.

NOT SUITABLE FOR 10 YEAR OLDS. BAD AGE RATING BY THEATRE
Humour involving the problems generated by a pedophile, prostitute seeking central Asian politician, and suggesting politicians can draw a moral equivalence between that and the collateral killing of children in anti-terror military campaigns, may work as political satire but is not a subject to address with a 10 year old. I would rather my 12 year old son (who I was due to take but fortunately could not come) learn about the trafficking of underage East European girls for sex in a context other than a comedy/political satire, where humour is made of the girl "being a foreigner, so it's alright". People who remember the subtle whimsy of the original will be surprised by the content. I don't disapprove of the humour as satire but it is not suitable for "10 and over".
