Life in Limboland, consistently funny and dazzlingly quick
Sydney Morning Herald
After garnering rave reviews in both Australia and New Zealand, Bill Bailey's newest tour, Limboland, is finally homeward-bound for the Hammersmith Eventim Apollo this December, making this a true Christmas-time treat! The theme of the show is expectations vs reality, and Bailey provides us with excellent anecdotes about his travels, rants against the unfairness of life, and of course throws some music into the mix. Watch out for a protest song played on a copy of the Bible, and possibly the most down-beat version of Happy Birthday you will possibly hear. Let's hope that Jesus isn't listening......
Recognised as one of Britain's most popular comics, Bailey is also a classically trained musician, proficient in piano and guitar, often utilising these in his acts both on the comedy circuits and at festivals including Sonisphere. Most famed for his role as the friendly Manny Bianco in Black Books opposite Dylan Moran's monstrous book seller, Bailey has also appeared in British films such as Hot Fuzz and most recently, Chalet Girl. When not touring, Bailey is a regular on various BBC comedy panel shows including his tenure as captain on Buzzcocks, and appears on Have I Got News for You and QI.
