Why See ?

A Welcome return!

Katherine Parkinson takes the lead as Eleanor, the long-suffering wife of Richard. Whilst she's hoping to start a family, he's getting ever busier with the Dead Funny Society, a strange collective who gather to celebrate the great and the good of the comedy world once they've left this mortal coil. With Richard's obsession for the society blooming and their marriage in dire straights, Eleanor comes to realise that perhaps the joke may have been on her all along...

Steve Pemberton, Ralf Little, Emily Berrington and Rufus Jones round out this all star cast in this much anticipated revival of Terry Johnson's 'painfully funny and funnily painful' play as it lands in London for a strictly limited season at the Vaudeville Theatre this winter.

Premiering back in 1994, the original cast included Zoe Wanamaker and David Haig as Eleanor and Richard in a production that current Richard Steve Pemberton described to The Guardian as the best performance he'd ever seen.
