Rosmersholm

A Henrik Ibsen classic returns to London this April with TV's Tom Burke and Avenger's Hayley Atwell leading the cast! Directed by Ian Rickson, Ibsen's deeply passionate work follows John Rosmer who seeks to buck tradition and support the revolutionary new order. However, he is paralysed by the ghosts of his own past and the appearance of the perplexing Rebecca West. As he strives to stick to his ideals, it seems that Rebecca, a friend of his late wife, will do anything to upend life as he knows it. Duke of York's Theatre, until July 20BOOK HERE

The Starry Messenger

Tony winner Matthew Broderick makes his West End debut this May as Kenneth Lonergan's cosmic The Starry Messenger. Starring alongside Downtown Abbey star Elizabeth McGovern, Broderick depicts Mark, an astronomy teacher who's struggling to keep both his Planetarium and marriage afloat. Witty and naturalistic, The Starry Messenger reminds us of Lonnergan's ability to hold a mirror up to life and showing us something we missed the first time. Documenting the rise, and fall, of the Lehman Brothers, The Lehman Trilogy depicts how one migrant family managed to become one of the biggest banks in the world. Olivier nominated trio, Simon Russell Beale, Adam Godley and Ben Miles return to portray the original brothers, their sons and their grandsons. Opens May 11 at the Piccadilly TheatreBOOK HERE
