Mischief managed - The Comedy About A Bank Robbery to close this summer

One last job for this crime caper

After four years of heist-ful hijinks, Mischief Theatre's criminally funny The Comedy About A Bank Robbery will play its final performance at the Criterion Theatre on May 3rd.

The third of the company's shows to open in the West End following smash-hit The Play That Goes Wrong and the Christmastime treat Peter Pan Goes Wrong, it was declared by The Telegraph to be "Quite simply, this is the funniest show in the West End", and by the Times to be "Fast and fabulous comedy caper is a joyful night out."

But Mischief fans needn't be worrying the fun is over, the company are still dominating the West End with their other shows - the aforementioned The Play That Goes Wrong at the Duchess Theatre and the recently opened-to-hugely-positive-reviews Magic Goes Wrong at the Vaudeville Theatre. In fact, this year they're dedicated to bringing us a whole year of Mischief, so watch this space!

The Comedy About a Bank Robbery

Upping the stakes from their attempt to stage a theatrical masterpiece, eight hapless characters are now prepped with trying to steal a priceless diamond from under the nose of a sleepy security guard. Will they pull off the heist? There's only one way to find out!

Full of pranks, slapstick, and heart, Mischief Theatre are one of the UK's most prestigious comedy troupes working today, continually presenting laugh-out-loud theatre for new audiences and the 'seasoned' theatergoer.

Now playing at the Criterion Theatre until 3 May
