Disney Delays Release of Everybody's Talking About Jamie Film

The release of the film adaptation of the hit West End musical has been pushed back, again!

The release of the brand new film adaptation of the hit West End musical, Everybody's Talking About Jamie, has been pushed back Disney has announced. 

The film adaptation of Tom MaCrae's (book and lyrics) musical was originally scheduled to be released in October 2020, but the release was delayed to February 2021. However, with COVID-19 pandemic still not under control, Disney has announced that they have now delayed the release of the new film until further notice. 

The brand new film will welcome newcomer Max Harwood in the titular role with Richard E Grant as Hugo/Loco Chanel, Sarah Lancashire as Margaret New, Sharon Horgan as Miss Hedge and Shobna Gulati as Ray. 

Everybody's Talking About Jamie joins the list of films which have had their release dates pushed back due to Coronavirus pandemic, including the film adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda's In The Heights and the brand new version of Jerome Robbin's iconic West Side Story

Debuting on the West End in 2017 Everybody's Talking About Jamie features a score by The Feeling's Dan Gillespie Sells, featuring hits like "He's My Boy" and "And You Don't Even Know It".

Growing up on a Sheffield Council Estate isn't plain sailing for teenage Jamie. Out of touch with his peers yet always ready with a comeback for his bullies, he's just not sure what the future holds.
