WHAT IS GREASE ABOUT?

Teen romance never looked so cool! It's the mid-50s and chasing girls, cars, and leather jackets are the order of the day as high school senior Danny Zuko and pals (The T-birds), prepare to take on their final year of lessons. But Danny's carefree plans are scuppered by the appearance of innocent new girl Sandy - the very same girl he was romancing all summer. Poor Sandy's squeaky clean image won't fly with the T-Birds, so Danny cruelly ignores her. But don't worry for Sandra-Dee, because the ultra-cool Pink Ladies come to the rescue! When these popular girls take Sandy under their wing, so begins a transformation that has Danny in a spin. Throw in the odd underage pregnancy storyline, a Beauty School dropout, and a televised dance competition and you've got the iconic hormonal chaos that is Grease!
