The play is ok, nice, well written but could have been so much deeper. thank god for greta scacchi and anita dobson portrayal of bette & joan. two VERY fine actresses.

Performances were good (bar the frequent offstage prompting). But the direction was choppy, not to mention the script, which has none of the style or wit of the classic "Bette and Joan" book published by Sphere.

This is a wonderful, hilarious and beautifully scripted performance. Congratulations to Greta and Anita - they nailed these two characters.
