My wife and I took my parents as a birthday treat. Great show, lots of fun, very high quality vocals, and a cast which evidently are enjoying themselves. Everything a musical comedy should be and highly recommended.

Don't miss 'Tenor'

From curtain up a 5* show - it has pace, humour, farce, pathos and a terrific company who deliver a great evening's entertainment. It would be hard to choose 'best performer' as their isn't a weak-link in the entire cast. Matthew Kelly is perfect as the harassed, three wived impresario who's future relies on the 'show going on'; Michael Matus as Mirelli is entirely convincing as the washed out 'opera-idol' who has had it with performance but is considerate enough to encourage others; Damian Humbley makes the transition from nervous jewish assistant to superstar lover with great humour and a voice to match. Joanna Riding as Maria almost steals the show with her facial expressions alone in the 'Penthouse scene'; Sophie-Louise Dann bring's the house down with her operatic 'audition' in Act II and Cassidy Janson creates the perfectly understated but hot-blooded 'daughter of the boss' just waiting for her chance. The chorus and orchestra are superb and the show deserves great success.

Musical triumph: lavish sets, costumes and utterly hilarious

I saw this 2 nights ago during a trip to London from NYC. Lend Me a Tenor is almost perfect, a wonderful and glamorous musical comedy in the great traditions of the West End and Broadway. It has several show-stopping moments, the music is lush and witty, and the audience truly loved it. My only complaint is that the audience was laughing so loudly I missed a few of the lines!

LOVE IT! Standing Ovation!

Standing Ovation! It was so funny. Wonderful performances, and music. Would call this more a musical comedy than a farce. My whole family loved it. The guy next to me was convulsing with laughter during the door-slamming scene! This show is just yummy fun.

I saw Lend Me A Tenor on the night before it opened with my wife and another couple. It was a truly lovely show and one of the best comedies I've seen in a West End theatre. The sets are gorgeous, there's lots of dancing, and bellyfulls of laughter throughout. There were two giant showstopping musical numbers and a sustained ovation at curtain. I've seen some of the critic's tepid reviews, and I am at a loss to understand what they are paid to do! My party loved this musical.

We went to the official opening night of 'Tenor' June 16th. What a fantastic night! Brad Carroll's music was exceptional, lifting the songs and cast. The duet between Max and Tito - 'Be Yourself' was wonderful. I was really impressed by the cast and set and I have to mention the tap dancing hotel staff - inspired! Matthew Kelly showed great comic timing. I would recommend this show to anyone who loves musical farce! The only downside for me was the heat in the theatre - take water!
