Brilliant!!!
I think it was a great performance by most of the cast but Ashley Walters was outsatnding in his role.He managed to captivate the intimate setting of the theatre and all his emotions high and low could be felt in the auditorium.I know some will argue that there were too many cliches being played out but i felt the director was merely highlighting qualities that we all know exist within the Black British community whether we choose to accept it or not.I thoroughly enjoyed this play and would recommend it to any open minded individuals!
Noooooooooooooo....................
This was without doubt the worst thing I’ve ever seen at the court. I’ve no idea how this play was chosen for the main house. It was cliché, predictable, even armature at moments and that’s only the writing. The production it’s self was tacky, with performances that were really unbelievably unbelievable. How can the Court go from the heights of Jerusalem or Motortown, to this? I don’t get it.
