THE INTERNATIONAL THEATRE COLLABORATION OF 2011.
I Am the Wind is a once-in-a-lifetime collaboration between France's leading theatre, opera and film director, one of the UK?s hottest contemporary voices and the most widely performed living European playwright.
Patrice Ch?reau (La Reine Margot, Jury Prize winner at Cannes; From the House of the Dead, The Met, New York) directs Simon Stephens? (Pornography, Punk Rock) version of Jon Fosse?s (Ibsen Award 2010) contemporary fable.
Two lifelong travelling companions are bound together on a journey across a vast ocean. As night falls, they drink together, cook for one another and test each other in ways neither could have thought possible. A light, comic, deeply moving exploration of the never ending struggle to be human.
