A World Premiere!

When scientist Carl finally meets the girl of his dreams, Elena, he's heartbroken to find out that not only is she married but also has the incurable disease, Tuberculosis. Determined not to let her go Carl hatches an odd, and somewhat disturbing, plan to keep his love alive.

This deeply moving yet shockingly funny new musical will be directed and choreographed by multi-award winning director Marc Robin, with Book, Music, and Lyrics by Broadway composer Jill Santoriello, It Happened in Key West embarks on its World Premiere at the Charing Cross Theatre.
