Meera Syal makes her Royal Court debut!
British comedian and TV star Meera Syal makes her Royal Court Theatre debut, in this new drama by associate artist debbie tucker green (always lower case!). Following on her 2015 acclaimed work Hang, this new play focuses on three couples, and the passage of time, chance and the path not taken. Co-starring Gary Beadle, Gershwyn Eustache Jnr, Lashana Lynch, Shvorne Marks alongside Syal, green will also direct the play, with design by Merle Hensel. See why green is one of the most promising playwright directors in London, with this searing indictment of romantic relationships.
Olivier-winning playwright green has been a firm favorite with theatregoers at the Royal Court since 2004, when she won the award for Most Promising Newcomer for her play born bad. She since followed this up with her hit 2013 play Nut, with the disturbing Hang hitting the stage to acclaim in 2015.
