MAD HOUSE HAS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

Amazing acting that draws you in and makes you forget you are in a theatre. You will laugh and cry. It's relatable and funny. Dark comedy at its best

AWESOME

Mad house is superb, the cast were fantastic and I recommend the play to anyone that enjoys dark humour expressed through very subtle acting that engages with the audience I have never been to the Ambassador theatre before but thoroughly recommend the experience

FABULOUS PERFORMANCES.

I’m not going to lie- it was the pull of “Hopper” that got us there in the first place, but the play was really good and the cast were fabulous! Bill Pullman’s portrayal of a twisted and (darkly) amusing old man was faultless and David Harbour was just a force! How he manages a performance like that every day (with occasional matinees thrown in too) is beyond me! A really good afternoon was had by us all. The theatre was compact and our views from the front of the circle were a very good choice. Loved it!

NOT SO FUNNY

My 4 stars are for the actors who were terrific. David Harbour is the main character with the most intense role. However, It is the only time I’d wished I was not 3 rows from the stage. There is a lot of loud shouting all the way through the production and left me drained by the end. I was hoping for more of the funny moments

WHAT IS THIS PLAY?

It just is not quite there, long live Arthur Miller. Cannot believe people were on their feet at the end clapping there are far better plays around don’t waste your money with this turkey.

LEFT AT THE INTERMISSION

First time we ever decided to leave at the intermission, just not good.
